REFLECTIONS ON STUDENT LEADERSHIP

Who runs AIS? Officially, and in case our lawyers are reading, we must say that the adults are in charge. But as you’ll see in this week’s bulletin, there are some pretty stupendous student leaders quietly charting their own course, finding ways to make a difference at school and in the wider community.

A group of student journalists from our Newspaper Club sat down with several of these students to hear what leadership means to them and what inspires them to serve others. Their stories are a reminder that leadership often begins with noticing what people need and deciding to do something about it.

And of course, students aren’t the only ones making a difference. Our phenomenal Parent-Teacher Organization brought the community together for a Fall Fest full of laughter, food, games, and good company. Thank you to everyone who helped make the evening such fabulous fun.

There’s plenty more to discover in this week’s edition, from learning highlights across the divisions to news from the arts and athletics, along with updates on health, wellness, and our Support Program. I hope you enjoy reading it and seeing all the ways our community continues to learn, lead, and come together.

Thank you for being a part of it,

Mr. Nash
