Step onto campus this year. You will find a school that is abuzz with learning, friendship, creativity and collaboration. Each day we strive to ensure that students are eager to join us in the mornings and reluctant to leave in the afternoons. From drop off to pick up, a day at AIS is packed full with hands-on, inquiry based engagements to cultivate a love of learning in a close-knit community that nurtures lifelong friendships.

In my AP World History class, students write earnest answers to largely unanswerable questions. A prompt might ask them, say, to assess the most impactful innovation of a given period. Some would argue for humble paper, invented in Han dynasty China.
Kindergarten CLASS OF 2015 Dear AIS Community, The Weekly Bulletin celebrates the AIS Class of 2015. Yes, you read that correctly. It shines a spotlight on the kindergarten graduating class of 2015, and those among them who will cross the amphitheater stage this year as part of the Class of 2027. A big part of the fun of celebrating our fifteenth anniversary is watching a generation of students complete their full educational journey with us – from early childhood to senior year – here at AIS.
Early in my time at AIS, a first grade student stopped me and told me he wanted my job when he grew up. I still remember this because a lot of six year olds want to be firefighters or superheroes, but not many want to be school administrators.
